El Tawfik Tours is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage the company's financial operations, with a primary focus on our Transportation Department: covering our vehicle fleet, drivers, maintenance, fuel, supplies, invoicing, and client billing. You'll ensure accuracy, compliance, and healthy cash flow across the business while owning cost tracking, budgeting, and reporting for fleet operations.

What You'll Do 

Transportation Department (Primary Focus) 

• Manage all financial transactions related to the transportation fleet (vehicles, buses, vans) 

• Track and control driver-related costs (salaries, overtime, allowances) 

• Monitor and reconcile fuel expenses across the fleet 

• Process and track vehicle maintenance and repair costs 

• Manage supplier accounts for spare parts, tires, insurance, and other fleet-related supplies 

• Prepare cost-per-vehicle and cost-per-trip reports to support pricing and profitability analysis 

• Reconcile fleet-related bank transactions and petty cash 

• Handle invoicing and billing collection for transportation services provided to clients 

• Follow up with clients on outstanding payments and resolve billing discrepancies 

• Support budgeting and forecasting for fleet expansion, replacement, and maintenance planning 

• Coordinate with the operations team to align financial data with fleet usage and scheduling 

General Accounting 

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations (accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations) 

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements 

• Handle supplier and hotel/cruise payment processing and reconciliation 

• Track tour costing and profitability per package/itinerary 

• Manage payroll and staff expense processing 

• Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax regulations (VAT, income tax, vehicle licensing, insurance, etc.) and coordinate with tax advisors/auditors 

• Monitor cash flow and foreign currency transactions (given international client payments) 

• Support overall budgeting and financial forecasting 

• Maintain accurate financial records for internal and external audits 

What We're Looking For 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 

• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally with fleet/transportation/logistics finance background, or travel and tourism 

• Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax law and accounting standards 

• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel 

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills 

Nice to Have 

• Experience in the travel/tourism transportation sector 

• Familiarity with fleet management systems 

• Familiarity with multi-currency transactions and foreign supplier payments
